The new board are all TSU Grads. One guy that I'm familiar with was President and Managing Director of General Motors of Canada. Overall the board looks pretty good to me I agree they look really good on paper. I'm just hoping that the governor doesn't have all of them on a short leash.

Overall the board looks pretty good to me I know several of the appointees. They are all True TSU. If they are approved. It may take a little time, but there will be major improvements. Not the scratch my back and I scratch yours.

This is what happen when you sit around doing nothing begging good Christian white folks to do the right thing. They literally have set up the tables to control not only the school but the any money that comes to it from the lawsuit. This is beyond sad It was the "Good Christian" black folks that sit around doing nothing. That caused TSU to be in the predicament it's in. Go and do you homework, before commenting.

And, we should keep a watchful eye on Lee. Just keep in mind the newly appointed board members came from "recommendations." We can keep concentrating on Lee. However, you can't overlook that "others" from outside of the obvious political realm were making moves. This coup was not just within the governors office, nor the republican party. Based on conversations I had with individuals during a reception that was held in Washington, DC hosted by the TSU Foundation, I now realize that others close to and within TSU were making moves to have the board replaced. It is hard to quantify the numbers, but keep in mind there is a large contingent of TSU folk out there who were not pleased at all with the previous board. My opinion is that certain interested parties took advantage of what the state was proceeding with regarding TSU and they seized the opportunity to advance individuals into what would ultimately be a newly appointed board.

In the words of the Wiseman Solomon, in part.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter - Eccl. 12:13
TSU will have a new president and BOG in place soon. We all should support them as long as they are headed in the right direction. Only time will tell. Major task, is to restore the trust and confidence in TSU. Listen to the Students and Alumni, hear but don't heed to outside instigators. Most may not have a "true" interest in the overall well fare of the university - just talk wanting to have something to say.
TSU, owe all the students; former students and parents a moral apology. For, not have the all the documentation that supported their full scholarships. While the university, didn't have the same documentations. Those students, that were in the process of graduating. At the last moment, they found out they had a balance, though they were on scholarships. The students that arrived on campus, ready to start classes and later had to call their parents to come and get them.
The BOG, owe the students and alumni an apology, for not taking their [students] complaints serious, about different conditions at the university. Thou they were contacted. For admitting, they should have done a better maintaining oversight of TSU.
Oh, well come July 1 2024. It will be a new day at TSU.

Which part of the " This is what happen when "YOU" sit around doing nothing begging good Christian white folks to do the right thing" are you not quite understanding that I can help clarify?

At about the halfway mark, the brother who spoke after Roland; I'm on his side. I think you’re talking about Dr Carr, TSU alum & led the sit-in (80’s, not sure of the exact year). May have been a Crat too.
