So my understanding is that the board may be vacated by JUNE 30th. But a new board will likely be in place by then.
So am I missing something?

If it was just that I wouldn't be as concerned. But I thought I read "immediately" in one of the articles.

If it was just that I wouldn't be as concerned. But I thought I read "immediately" in one of the articles. So now I am wondering if there will be a transition period and when will the new board take over? Who will have final say in choosing the new president if there is a transition period. I guess many got what was wanted. Lots of complaints about the current (not so current) board.

I guess many got what was wanted. Lots of complaints about the current (not so current) board. There is no transition period. The Senate bill reads as follows regarding reconstituting the board: COMPOSITION OF RECONSTITUTED BOARD This amendment provides that the board is vacated on the effective date of the bill, and reconstituted to consist of 10 members of which nine members must be voting members and one member must be a nonvoting member. The nonvoting member must be a student representative. So, as of today, March 28th, the board has been vacated and reconstituted with new members appointed by the governor.

MAN!!! Did Lee push the easy button... How did this happen so fast!?!?! Perspective: The governor's office began vetting names of potential board members that had been "recommended to him" several weeks, possibly months ago. I'll let you guys interpret that as you see fit.

This is what happen when you sit around doing nothing begging good Christian white folks to do the right thing. They literally have set up the tables to control not only the school but the any money that comes to it from the lawsuit. This is beyond sad

The new board are all TSU Grads. One guy that I'm familiar with was President and Managing Director of General Motors of Canada. Overall the board looks pretty good to me
