Agreed. We do have a problem, and I hope we fix it, beginning with this season. But you weren’t the one who called us losers. That's true across the board, with all HBCU's. People, must understand Nashville, is a major city with a lot to do on the weekend. For example, this past weekend - going on's i Nashville. Pee Wee, Football at 90% of the parks in the area. Alumni and others that may have been at the game, had to decide who to support children, grand children or TSU. The Church I attend, we had a October program for the Community Children, with all the trimming "free food" [Games, Fish, Ribs, Hot Dogs and BBQ] so who will adults support. North Nashville, had a "Art Crawl" Just to name a few. Would those that attend the game. I don't know. The attendance for HC is hard to understand, maybe folks just not hip to Norfolk.
That's true, unless you are from the area! The only HBCU's most of the younger generation is familiar with is: Jackson State and FAMU. Now they are beginning to learn about HBCU's. A cousin that live in Detroit, thought UTK was a HBCU, because of the number of AA on the Sports Teams.

tsu120 now you digging into matter that a lot people ignore. I was talking to a player on my son's football team and told him that he should consider tsu. He gave me a concerned look and said that he wasn't sure about that because it's down south in Tennessee. Then I informed him that tsu was an hbcu, to which he was shocked. Then also informed him that Nashville is much more diverse than the country music label that it's known for in the mainstream media. Bottom line, there are way more people unfamiliar with HBCU world than a lot of us would like to acknowledge.

Bottom line, there are way more people unfamiliar with HBCU world than a lot of us would like to acknowledge. Another problem HBCU's faces is recruiting against the Media, meaning a majority of the TV viewing audience is focused on the P5 and Mid Major Non-HBCU Conferences. Part of the problem is, there are so many HBCU Graduates, that are encouraging their families to attend non-HBCU, citing problem, after problems similar to the issues at TSU, Morgan State; JSU, Bowie State; Grambling Homecoming Shootings. Bottomline - HBCU Alumni is part of the problem. newsone.com/4428589/hbcu-homecomings-violence/On the flipside, parents don't talk about the racial tension at PWC's. This kind of "Crap" happens 2- 3 times a year at MTSU, but some Negros prefer MTSU over TSU. It happens at all the colleges and universities in TN, have not heard of any incidents at Rhodes, Memphis. www.wkrn.com/news/local-news/murfreesboro/black-mtsu-pledges-faced-racial-discrimination-threats-from-fraternity-brothers-lawsuit-says/www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/racist-graffiti-found-in-dorms-at-mtsu-as-black-history-month-starts/ar-AA17aZ8Vwww.wkrn.com/news/local-news/mtsu-students-call-for-action-after-racist-message-found-outside-students-dorm/www.wbir.com/article/news/utk-sorority-racist-video-statement/51-b2cff153-acaf-4ca6-8995-8873b8043a1e
