I will say this, that Beyond the Roar segment is one that our fans really need to see. If for no other reason, it's relatable. It shows chemistry between them. And, Coach Burns passion and heart really comes through the way he speaks about his role, his experience and his players. It was refreshing and engaging to watch.

I never thought the team was unathletic. The new coaches probably don't get that the opportunity to get the kids in shape more than the past coaches did. The team got better once they started running the some of the stuff from the Spring vs some of the new stuff they wanted to add in. |

I have heard Terray Jones name mentioned before as to how explosive he is. We have seen signs of it during games. Let us hope he continues to improve each year..

IMO, I think, the staff was "thinking" just another group of young men, that need (fill in the blank). And perhaps, they were thinking TSU is a HBCU, well we know the rest of the story. If not, here it is, you could not be that good you're at a HBCU.
Reed and staff, recruited some good players. Now, we have witnessed how good they are.

I can see how you could be offended by that kind of statement. But considering the record we've had over the pass few years, can you really blame anyone that hasn't been watching?
As far as recruiting I've heard first hand how he has got gotten a little more attention from some of the locals since he's been there. I got a little cousin in Smyrna who wouldn't have given tsu a second thought a year ago, now is starting to tag Eddie and football staff in some of his highlights.
