Why are we not playing AA&M annually?? Is it them or is it us??? This could have been a huge rivalry by now!!! Somebody has an ego problem!! I think it’s because A&M wants a return game. The year they asked us to play in their new “classic”, similar to JMC, that was the last time we played. In order for them to continue coming to TSU, we had to return the favor. tsumadness, not sure what you're saying here, but according to my recollection the last time we played AAMU WAS at their place!! |

That’s true, that was the last time we played.
When we tried to schedule them for the next JMC, they wanted us to return the game in Huntsville. From my understanding, that was an issue, and TSU wasn’t interested in the continued home/away schedule.

Were we so arrogant enough to think AA&M was to be treated like a D2 school (which they were when we used to play them last game of the year). But then we played a home and home until we started the JMC. They also started beating us in the JMC which did not sit well at the time... |

Our 2022 schedule is wide open. If they look good on the field for 2021, hopefully the AD's will get together and work something out. Maybe someone could E-mail the AD's, but with the addition of FAMU and Bethune Cookman to the SWAC, our chances of getting them on the schedule may be slim. |

Yep! With the addition of FAMU and BCU, the appeal for SWAC schools to schedule TSU is not as high.

I was at the game at Ala State. It started lightening, thought they may have to cancel it but they didn't and the lil ole storm passed. It was a good and well-attended game. Nice turnout from the Big Blue Tiger fans. |
