What is the score?
I saw that Howard scored a TD to give them 14 points. Did TSU run the kickoff back for a TD? Because there is no indication in the box score how TSU scored.
So is the score really 27 - 14 ... or is it 20 - 14?

There appears to be a huge TSU crowd at the game. For the most part the visitor side of the stadium was mostly TSU fans with a smattering of HU fans amongst us. When the football team ran out on the field you could tell that they were even shocked to see how many TSU fans were in the stands. Several times during the game players played to the fans as well to get them engaged. Ellis ran along the track at one point getting the fans hyped. I will say had the AOB been there, the game would have easily turned into a TSU home game atmosphere. HU's band is so small it was hard to hear them the few times they did play during the game (they over used a DJ). The Crats would have electrified the TSU fans and easily outplayed HU. I will say this, HU should be ashamed of themselves for the way they handled gate management, seating, even the location of portable restrooms. They pretty much only had to entrance points and each of those had a single line. The majority of their stadium is supposed to be general admission. However, it appears that they decided that certain sections on the visitor side were VIP or reserved because blocks of tickets were purchased (mostly TSU of course) but it made it challenge for those who purchase general admission tickets to actually find a seat. The usher in our area said, she would let people in to the area but if someone came and had reserved seats, that people with GA tickets would need to leave. They only had one area for porta potties and they were on the opposite side of the field. No porta potties were on the visitor side at all. It was a friendly atmosphere overall. Even with all the discussions about how many TSU people would be there, one could sense that HU fans were still a bit surprised with the TSU turnout. As I was walking towards the stadium a couple of HU people asked me just how many TSU people are here because they had been seeing them from Thursday on. All I could say was, just enough to be visible all over DC... LOL!!! |

Horrible seating management and game day design by Howard and the ushers. However, everyone was pretty pleasant.

The announcers, reminds me Charlie Neal, Lem Barney and the other SWAC Announcers. Honestly, I was not impressed with HU. The announcers, was announcing the game as if HU was undefeated _ wins over Mercyhurst 32-31, Morehouse 35-21 and Sacred Heart 21-14. What was the sideline penalty. Good win for the BIG BLUE |
