I think it is safe to say that we have hired the right person at OC. The ball is being spread around nicely. The WRs appear to be capable of and the QB is in midseason form and has been coached up. The running game is not exactly where it needs to be, but it has shown promise. Oline is headed in the right direction and the TEs are best they have been in several years. Special teams are "special". Had more good moments than bad. Maybe the rain played a part in the fumbles??? Defensive line.... excellent Line Backers.... Good but needs more bodies Defensive backs............not sure if it was the vanilla scheme or over confidence, but either way they need to step up and fix the gaps in coverage. I agree. This offense with either of the last couple of years' defense, we'd be cooking with hot grease.

And, UAPB may be better than originally thought. They won't be an easy win for most HBCUs.

27,500 is not a bad turnout considering the rain and stadium construction

27,500 is not a bad turnout considering the rain and stadium construction It rained in the morning, but was pretty much rain free in the afternoon and for game time. Sprinkles at best. It was raining between Nashville and Memphis, but not in Memphis. Liberty Bowl is under major renovation, so max attendance was going to be down. Only 30K max can get in the stadium with the West side removed. So when I see the announced attendance was 28K, that's definitely paid attendance. No way were there more than 20K actual attendance in that stadium on Saturday night.

Agreed. Probably only 15,000 in the stands. Maybe a few more than that...but not much more. And we cannot blame that on UAPB.
