Turnovers. Bad tackling. Poor db coverage. Bad offensive play calling in the second half. And not having that killer instinct.
Well win this game, but expect the same outcome in the OVC as last year.

I like the representation during the commercials on HBCU GO... That's my positive commentary..

The coaching staff needs to get this teams attention. Because this ain't gonna get it in Big South/OVC play. I would like to see some leaders on both sides of the ball when these guys get out of position and start making bone-head plays and decisions.

LBs must grow up faster. Ellis is doing well but we need more to step up!

My comment has been summed up by everyone!
I see some improvements. But, the secondary is continuing to be exposed.
"Lack of focus"

I'm glad we got an OC that can pull out this side of him. If we can establish a running game earlier in our upcoming games. Ellis will become even more dangerous.

I think it is safe to say that we have hired the right person at OC. The ball is being spread around nicely. The WRs appear to be capable and the QB is in midseason form and has been coached up. The running game is not exactly where it needs to be, but it has shown promise. Oline is headed in the right direction and the TEs are best they have been in several years.
Special teams are "special". Had more good moments than bad. Maybe the rain played a part in the fumbles???
Defensive line.... excellent Line Backers.... Good but needs more bodies Defensive backs............not sure if it was the vanilla scheme or over confidence, but either way they need to step up and fix the gaps in coverage.
