Despite, TSU having a better record. This time , it's one and done - win or go home.
TSU: win, will depend on who is healthy, reduce the number of turnovers, stop the scoring droughts, play for a solid 40 min. If TSU overlook, SIU, it will be a long bus ride back to Nashville,

WTF are they doing?!?!
Fire Penny tonight if they don't win by at least 20!
This is a 8 WIN TEAM!!!
They have 3 players on the floor under 6 feet, and they can't get easy shots?
This is embarrassing for HBCUs...

How was Dowuona ever rated a 4-star player coming out of high school. Dowuona, has been hurt or playing hurt since he arrived on campus. Honesty, he is rusty - very little playing time. At one time Brown, was dominating, he has fallen off after his illness - injuries. Same for Jones, Fritzgerald and Bellinger. Fritzgerald and Bellinger, is just returning to their game. If it was not for Bellinger and Shanks - oh well Not sure, why TSU have so many injuries year after year.

His defense has helped win a lot of games.. TSU could easily have 20 wins going into the tournament. But it is what it is... Keep working fellas!!!

I'm glad we won the game, but as I texted a friend, TSU plays like a bad Harlem Globetrotters team. TSU's passing is simply awful at times. The team passes like they have good instincts/anticipation when they really don't. Especially Fitzgerald. I like that he moves the ball fast, but unfortunately he doesn't do so with control. He's even turned the ball over because he dribbled off his own foot or simply lost control several times. It's like his mind and physical speed don't mesh. I think Hodges is a better ball handler.
We split with Western Illinois during the season one game was close the other TSU played scrappy and couldn't get control of the game. TSU played an awful first half in the second game only scoring 17 points. TSU played a better second half and got within 4 points before going into a slump that they couldn't recover from.
Like the football team, I want to see this team play a full game of basketball. They tend to have lulls and miscues that allows their opponents to stay within striking distance. A strong game tonight will give me more hope that they can potentially get to the finals and who knows, maybe pull off the tournament title.

Basketball was a much rougher sports when the following played - most didn't play the entire four years. Dick Barnett, 3209 Lloyd Neal, 2244 Anthony Mason, 2076 Ted Mc Clain 2309 Carlos Rogers, 2196 - he was a transfer
