Some people are dismissing this tweet but I think it has legs.
Coach Sanders can recruit, and in places like GA, FL or TX he would crush it. He has star power and proven coaches on his staff as well.
Just thinking out loud here:
S. Frost just got the boot at Nebraska.
Don't see Coach Sanders here.
WVU are not happy with their 0-2 coach and TX A&M fans are not happy with Jimbo Fisher. Does J. Fisher go back home to WVU?
Would TX A&M step out of the box and give Coach Sanders a shot.
GT has nothing to lose and everything to gain with a Coach Sanders hire.
The UGA and GT rivalry will get heated again.
UCF would be a great move IMO.
It's FL and FL recruiting. Easy Money!!!
Notre Dame is 0-2 out of the gate. Coach Freeman will be given time to correct this situation. But hey anything is possible. However, this move is highly unlikely.

There will be openings/vacancies come the end of the season and Coach Sanders will be on the radar of some of the hiring ADs.

He is getting some looks. ADs make need more wins against what they view a tough competition. An out of conference win against the likes of NDSU would definitely favor him. If they ever schedule such opponents.

Yeah, I get that but just 3-4 years as a HC on the college level and he has put together a pretty good resume in the W-L column not to mention what he has done on the recruiting trail alone. He is a triple threat in the coaching arena, marketing, charisma & coaching. IMO, Coach Sanders at a Power 5 school with more resources, turns that program around fairly quickly. |

I honestly, don't think Deion is going anywhere. The only way that happens is if something happens between him and JSU (which I hope does not). He will continue to get interest, but the only spot I really think he would've left for is FSU.

End of the Season  I bet by mid-season there will be three - four openings. Being a "N" Fan also. Frost, knew he was gone after the first loss and to after the loss to Oklahoma, Nebraska fired the D Coordinator, Erik Chinander. Former Husker quarterback Mickey Joseph was named Nebraska's interim head coach on Sept. 11, 2022 "also coached at Grambling, Alcorn, Langston and Alabama State" Dang Herm gone.Folks can't say, AA has not been given an opportunity. Now, there has to be a reason why some are not successful. Part of the answer is they "some" are at "Sports minded programs, unlike Shaw at Stanford (Academics), but they love to win. |
