In my opinion, in order for attendance to increase, the team has to continue to play winning (80%+) football. Without checking, I think it has been approximately 10 years since TSU has done this.

It is scary to think about what this team is capable of. We still have not seen a complete game. Let's keep up the fantastic work, get the win against Howard and then get fully healthy to finish the season STRONG!! Go Big Blue!

I wanted to make a post since I haven't posted but a few times and created the rant thread...
I'm impressed with the team so far. My gripe was with the running game so far this season and how they performed against NDSU.
Now that the season is halfway over, I think it's clear that it's between TSU, UTM, and SEMO to decide who goes to the playoffs.
TSU seems better than UTM, but not SEMO, but since we play both at home, then I think homefield with the band can push them to win those games.
They cannot afford to slip up like they did last year at any of these away games coming up bc they lost to TTU even though I think TSU is better than them. I would love to see a complete game from TSU to really know how good they are.
If they can put it on Howard next week, then I think that will open more eyes up to the potential of TSU.
I think they're a playoff team right now.

Great win TSU Tigers! Started well the first drive, but missed the field goal. He offense was stagnant after that until the 2nd quarter. So, it is still safe to say that we again started off slow. But complete dominance. I’m proud of the boys in blue, err black.

And as far as the attendance, it sucked once again, as you all have already noted. I think there are several reasons why attendance is low season long, but I think the reason is different for homecoming.
I remember, even in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, tailgating was for the old heads. A couple of Greeks and other folks had their tents and offered food and drinks. But the young cats like myself at the time, didn’t want to hang with old heads because it was their tent which entitled them to go on a diatribe about the frat and what we ain’t doing right. So, our party was inside. The NUPEs and the Ques used to kick up by the concession stands behind the band.
Nowadays young and old kick it at the tailgate together and is designed to cater to everyone. The tailgate has become the hang out area, and not inside the game where it used to be. No one bothers going in the game anymore. As it relates to homecoming, we really need to do something about the tailgating. And before anyone says it, I know it’s part of homecoming. But the tailgating has become the primary purpose of homecoming.

Side complaint... Why in the world did they use the marque on the west side entrance of the campus in the video? The primary one on the east side entrance is much better.
