Talking about Tech earlier got me curious. I think Tech is on the rise. Semo and UTM ain't half bad. With rumors still flying of some MVFC schools being called to fbs. Is the OVC in line to become a consistent multbid conference in the next couple of years?

More than likely. Especially, if it absorbs some of the MVFC teams that remain on the FCS level.

That's tough to say. The SoCon got 3 teams in the playoffs last year; and NDSU had to pull a 4th quarter comeback to beat ETSU (3-8 last year) by 3 points 2 weeks ago.
Besides them, we're still likely behind the Big Sky (definitely), CAA (probably), and Southland (definitely).

This is why I say, I am paying very close attention to other HBCUs and our in-state FCS peers. I just don't believe there is a logical explanation for ETSU to basically have defeated (I mean they scored with like 30 seconds left to win) the same NDSU team that made us look like a middle school team the week earlier. If ETSU is that much better than us with a year 1 coach, that's problematic.
