What ever the discipline program is, it does not appear to be adequate. I remember last year, two taunting penalties, including one that caused a TSU defeat. And, an unsportsmanlike penalty on Saturday that costed TSU a TD. If these issues are not clean-up, they are going to cause TSU more defeats during the season.
Note: It's a penalty if the flip is unnecessary.

If my memory is correct EG addressed the issue of flipping. I think it was Dean or Gay.
I was away from the TV - thought I heard a TSU player was ejected for targeting.

I did not find the flip to be that egregious to be honest. It's the first game and 10-102 is not what you want in terms of penalties but it was a relatively dominant performance.
Take for instance the UM vs UF in which the Miami players were gator chomping on practically every score with no flags and Vandy's new QB was practically taunting on every play and score.
The only difference in the games is the officiating crews.

AND, it's been happening for 30+ years now, so we should know better. Now... I didn't want to be the guy to nitpick LOL so I didn't say anything about this; but something did bother me. The podcast from practice a couple of weeks ago when Coach EG was asked about culture, and he said something to the effect of "we're still in the process of getting guys to buy into the small things like being on time..." Like really??? If there's a team meeting at 3:00, you stand at the door at 2:59 and as soon as the clock hits 3:00, you lock the door. Whoever is late is absent, and whoever is absent, that's their ASS. Coaches included. This shouldn't even be a discussion in year 4. Just my 0.02

On target. I have been to a few practices on the hill.
A couple of times, the team was warming up, a few was "butt dragging' up the hill.
That's ok, for an evening practice - maybe had classes.
