Establish a plan and commit to it.
That plan should include but not limited to the following:
1. Rebuilding the fanbase (engage more with existing fans, develop strategies to attract new fans). 2. Leave the OVC for either the MEAC, SWAC. Consider the ASUN if TTU and UTM will consider the move as well. 3. Make a final decision on building a new football stadium on campus. Establish a plan to achieve the goal if the decision is to build a stadium. 4. Establish a scheduling strategy with schools that will help rebuild TSU's fanbase and increase revenue. 5. Establish and implement a specific marketing plan to increase sponsorships of local, regional and national businesses. 6. Establish Student Athlete Community Engagement Program to encourage ongoing community activities conducted by student athletes. 7. Establish a high school basketball tournament during the holiday season that is held at Gentry. 8. Add women's gymnastics, men's and women's soccer 9. Create a game day fan engagement strategy (this needs to include the cheer team and the AOB to increase their engagement during the games; it also needs to include company sponsored giveaways (t-shirts, towels, bobbleheads, miniature footballs/basketballs, etc.). 10. Radio, television, print and social media blitz.

Make all TSU fb games played at Nissan Stadium more family cost friendly. What's up Roar. What I find strange is - I know a lot of TSU Alumni, that attend the Titan Games and never complain about parking, cost of season tickets or the cost of items. Some of the tame individuals, complain about of TSU Season Tickets, parking and cost of the same items at Nissan during a TSU Game. Most of the items listed by DC, can be accomplished - just need more support from alumni. I am wondering, how the alumni would react - if the AD made the same comment EG made about attendance.

Lol. That's a good question. They'd probably call for him to be fired. "Don't tell me anything about myself that I don't want hear". But honestly, if they find a way to make ticket prices a little more family friendly at the coliseum it would probably help a lot.

What's happening, tsu 120.. Happy New Year Bruh.. TSU is not on the same level as the Titans, no way should the fans of an FCS school be asked to pay the same ridiculous concession prices as the fans of a Pro Team, IMO this is the main reason why our attendance is declining, not because the tailgating people are refusing to come into the stadium, but the prices do contribute to most of the tailgaters not coming in. How does the price that TSU fans pay for tickets, parking and concessions compare to other similar schools, OVC, SWAC, ETC?

1.Open up the Whole (lower side) Stadium to the Fans, like it use to be, It is not enjoyable to sit on the home side and look at 30,000 plus empty seats on the visitors side, Offer Discounted Tickets to whomever wants to buy them, come up with a plan to where you can purchase those tkts on game day.
2. Offer Free Tickets to all of Nashville's Student Athletes/Band Members, to any High School Coach/Band Director that requests them, but they must sit on the visitors side.
3. Give the Bands of the Nashville/Memphis/Rutherford County Schools the opportunity to perform on the field at halftime, when the opposing team is not bringing their band. Can you imagine Pearl Cohn/Whites Creek/Maplewood performing at our halftime shows sometimes, would be awesome for the TSU fan base, a lot of the area high school students would attend.
4. Offer A Visitors Side Season Ticket Package.

Roarman, that's not a bad idea. I don't know how Prof would take that, but I think having guest high school bands would at least get another couple hundred butts in the seats. Indiana University has a band day where they invite several local bands to perform halftime with them

I'm not opposed to the idea of having high school bands perform at TSU games, however, the high school bands in Nashville in particular are tiny compared to what they used to be back in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Some of the bands barely have 50 members. That is pathetic and it probably won't get any better given that there is no emphasis on the arts in schools anymore.
I say that to say that while not a bad idea, it won't result in an increase in attendance of any significance. At best you're looking a few parents come as a one and done.
I'd like to see TSU start a community based program with a goal to increase the number of middle school students being taught how to play an instrument.

Didn't know they had gotten that bad. If that's the case, then it would be a good look for TSU to take the lead on something like that.
