Great Question lol…….. Especially for what is basically a lateral move. This guys resume is impressive I’m wondering why he hasn’t gotten any consideration at the higher level. Nevermind I know. The offense doesn’t sell tickets and nobody wants to see that at the FBS level. That offense works great out there in Fargo, ND because they are able to keep big lineman, big TEs and RBs I hope we are going to be able to do the same. On the surface good hire. Funny thing is now all of sudden white coaches want to come coach at HBCUs Let this sink in we have two white coordinators and we will have a white starting QB.

White folks are at liberty to go where they feel welcome. Unfortunately far more than us. So if they look at as a meal ticket to step up and can make our team(s) more competitive in the process, I'm cool with it. If they go out looking for the best QB and of the ones willing to play for us, the best happens to lack pigmentation, so be it. To me it's more important that no matter who coaching or playing, that we the alumni and fans make they remember and acknowledge that they are representing an HBCU. Emphasis on the H & B. Win, lose, or draw the atmosphere around them needs to be "Tennessee State University HBCU" So when our profile starts to raise, we don't to hear about a "Taylor Swift" coming and creating a trend. It will be obvious to even the blind that they came to join "us". Now, this looks like a good hire. I got to do a little more research, but doesn't he have a QB in the NFL right now?

I’d add that FAMU also had white offense and defense coordinators this year. Just Win Baby!

Welcome aboard! This is a big time hire, period! When's the last time we were able to go get a coordinator from a top tier FCS program.
I think he was open to move since he was possibly passed over for the head coach position @ndsu. I believe the head coach this past season left for a FBS job.
It also makes me think we have real plans on going FBS. Or maybe just for connections (Jeff Fisher, etc.). Either way, he's coming off a semifinal appearance in the playoffs which is where we want to be.

I've been critical of EG the last two years regarding his offense, this appears to be a major upgrade. I'm excited about the upcoming season.
