I don't remember this being posted anywhere.
Lindenwood dropping 10 sports after D-I jump.
Lindenwood Univ. in St. Charles, Mo., will “eliminate 10 athletic programs at the end of the academic year” less than two years after beginning the process to move to D-I from D-II and joining the Ohio Valley Conference. The sports being eliminated include: men’s lacrosse, men’s swimming and diving, men’s tennis, men’s indoor track and field, men’s outdoor track and field, men’s wrestling, women’s field hockey, women’s gymnastics and women’s swimming and diving. Men’s and women’s cycling, which are not NCAA sports, will also be cut. The decision to cut these sports was made “after a comprehensive evaluation,” and will impact “about 280 athletes." Lindenwood will continue NCAA competition in "eight men’s sports and 12 women’s sports”

My son shared this with me. Apparently moving to D1 has been more costly than they realized.

I really thought that they had their coins together a little more. We will see they can maintain.

Wow. That’s a heck of a gift for those students impacted by the cuts.

They are cutting 10 sports and will continue with 8 men and 12 women sports teams. I think the coins are in order. Now they will distribute more funds to be competitive in those 20 remaining sports.
