The track and field needs some serious upkeep and a touch of paint. Sort of sad to see the condition it is in. Noticed the condition at the Jazz & Blues Festival this weekend. We (TSU) can do better. tsutigers.com/facilities/edwards-temple-track/9

I know that a refurbished track is in Dr. Allen’s plans, but I’m unsure of the timeline. I hope it’s a priority soon and not later.

Dr. Allen said last year that repairs to the track would come before anything including Gentry or Hale.

I betcha we'll have a hockey team before we get a new track...indoor or outdoor.

We need to take care of the low hanging fruit. Be good to get a huge sponsorship for Track and Tennis like we have for hockey and football... But the revenue generating sports usually get taken care of 1st.
You would think the history Tigerbells would be enough for some corporate sponsor to want their name attached to such greatness.
