Ironic, isn’t it, that a player chooses TSU in part because of facilities. Sounds to me that the player/coach relationship is the biggest reason, and not wanting to go to the same college that his brother once attended. There must be some reason that Skyy transferred to Louisville. I think ZZ said, screw it, I’m going somewhere that the coach is supportive, can get me access, and the facilities ain’t too bad either. Hopefully the facility pitch that Penny and maybe even Allen gave to him, comes true sooner than later.

If my memory is correct, the only "new" addition to Gentry will be a new video score board, mention by Collins [two or three years ago] at some point. I have heard nothing about training facilities, new locker room or other things that attracts "top notch" players. Going to be interesting when the season starts!

We got the new video boards on the sides, but it really doesn’t add anything to the viewing experience. Getting a new center scoreboard with LED picture is the way to go. No need to waste money on the little things. Also, retiring more jerseys and hanging large ones will help, too.

Yes TSU defeated U of Illinois about 15 or so years ago. My director was an Illinois grad and I sure did let him know I graduated from TSU!! He was not happy!!

Clarification, they were not working last season. Most of the people attending didn't know where the jersey's were hanging until Skill Barnet was in attendance. On the wall would be better than in the rafters above everyone's head. Only way to see them is on the same side as the team bench looking upward to the opposite side -

If Coach can get it figured out on the coaching side, he has some players coming in. I like what this kid brings to the table defensively and in the paint area.
