I decided to make a separate post for this.
I got it at the starting point. It ends about 1:50:00

The motions to proceed were a bit weird, but TSU may be sitting on top of a gold mind. Did not seem to be a lot of excitement around the possibility of developing that land. Maybe they were cautiously optimistic (in shock).

I posted an article from the Nashville Business Journal on decision to move forward with a site survey under TSU Athletics in the thread titled Eddie George tell MLB to consider TSU. This will continue the discussion in the appropriate thread.
As for the BOT meeting, it was once again a poor representation of TSU's leadership. I was however pleased that someone on the BOT did ask the question about revenue sharing. I would hope that if this building a MLB stadium and other entertain venues on TSU campus becomes a reality, that TSU will not just engage in a land sale deal but look to creating a revenue stream from such entities being on campus.

I don’t think TSU can sell any of the land granted to the institution.

I don’t think TSU can sell any of the land granted to the institution. I believe you are correct. Instead of TSU Campus - Why not Metro Center - there is plenty open land. They better count the cost, for improving the area around TSU. How much is the city willing to chip in.

It will be a land lease. If TSU does do this, they need to think about acquiring some more land for agricultural purposes.

If the city wants MLB to come to Nashville, it is best for them to put up whatever is required to make that happen. I would love to see the area transform and provide a steady income stream to fund the University.

Both areas are on 28th Avenue. Along the Cumberland River Behind Ford I still say Metro Center, near the Post Office, Hotels, Office, Titans Practice Facility, Apartment Complex's is the best location. Metro Center Blvd. connects to 28th, Clarksville Highway and I 65 and a short distance to I40 and 24. If built on Campus, that will mean spending a millions on improving 28th, W.S Davis and Jefferson. Honestly, I don't think Metro will be willing to spend the necessary funds to make the improvements. But, it will be up to the incoming administrations.

This is about to be a battle between the value of our school’s foundational college (Agriculture) and our value of athletics and monetary growth.
I want this project to happen, but I want them to find a way to keep some form of the wetlands and acres for agriculture research.
