They should have taken play calling duties away from the OC. I’m not certain that there is anyone on the offensive coaching staff capable of calling plays. EG. It's not ideal, but lot's of HCs call plays on the side of the ball that they specialize.

Eddie is not ready to call plays. Probably never will be. There’s more to it than student body left or right. It takes a high level of understanding not only offensive schemes, but understanding defensive schemes and certain teams’ norms.
Something tells me Eddie doesn’t want to get that involved.

Does anyone know why Jashon Bryant and K'Vaugn Pope did not play. They are our two (2) leading tacklers. They were missed.

Something tells me Eddie doesn’t want to get that involved.I disagree, remember he said. He is still learning how to be a HC and there are times he may looked confused and may make the wrong hire. Now, that true for anyone that has not been a coach or coordinator. It's true for a new father; mother or any profession, it's a learning process. He may be the type of coach that's may be depending to much on his assistances, thinking they know what they are doing pe se', but like he said after several games "offense" that tells me, he has a sense of what the problem is and will be making a change during the off season. I am wondering, why some has done an about face, after saying that it will take two to three years to rebuild the team or he (EG) has to get his players in. Sure a team that is rebuilding, will have roller coaster seasons and when it appears the team has turned the corner, there is another let down. At Farmers Market yesterday, some dude said "man ya'll show blew it when ya'll hired George". That's the kind of foolishness and non-sense, that makes no sense, because this same type of "Nero" that perhaps never attended a game, but love MTSU or UTK. Just saying some of these "roe's" in Nashville are just pitiful, they will not support most thing AA to include, TSU, FISK, talk about Me Harry. From the movie Ratatouille Despite of the record 120 is "100% Big Blue, no different than those that "Bleed Orange" Next season will be the season TSU will turn everything around, next season winning the OVC, just as the Lady Tiger Volleyball Team. .

Thanks TSU Denver. That shows the value of listening to the radio feed of the game from Greg Pogue or others familiar with the program. As I said, we really missed Bryant and Pope because tackling was a major issue in this game. On the other hand, it was good to see seniors Michael Crawford, Davion Nash and Terry Straughter get some run in their last games as TSU Tigers. "Fare thee well", young men. "Go forth and prosper". On the other hand, Jordan Gant looks promising as a running back but he will have a lot of competition from Devon Starling, Jalen Rouse, James Thorpe, Tre Boone, Craig Cunningham and any incoming freshmen next year. Any of those backs will prosper behind an aggressive offensive line and a diversified offensive scheme that the new coordinator will bring. Hopefully, we can keep all of the promising young players. Competition will make everyone better. I know that it may seem to impatient young men that the grass is greener on the other side. Actually, it is not greener and there will always be competition, whether the player stays at TSU or goes elsewhere. Remember, "the cream always rises to the top".

Why does this dude spin in the backfield when no one is near him? I've been asking that question all season. Just wasted energy, time and it actually allows the defense to rush him more. They need to coach that out of him for next season.

Fare thee well, young man. I hope that you find what you are looking for in the portal. I've enjoyed watching a young man from Nashville perform for his home town team. We will miss you at Noter Dame next year.

Hard to tell after the pandemic. Perhaps, Starling feel threaten by Boone (S), Rouse (S), Gant (F), Thorpe (F) and Cunningham (F). Those young bucks, if all return will be like the "Four Horseman - ND 1921-24" All is needed is a good OL and two or three FB, to open the way When you are in the spotlight, you're the man. But, when you are no longer in the spot light, traditionally the Individual will as we say back in the day "turn tail and run" Oh well, TSU will survive
