Interesting poll. Of course JSU would be number 1. But polls like this really makes me wish we played more HBCUs. I thought Grambling would have been represented but it appears that
recruiting classes (transfer portal) is the biggest factor in polling right now.

After the first three (JSU, FAMU, SCSU), you have a lot of unproven teams. And although SCSU beat JSU in the Celebration Bowl, they loss to FAMU, AAMU, NC A&T. So one could argue AAMU and A&T should be higher on the list.
I think AAMU, A&T and Alcorn should make up 4-6. I would have TSU at 7, then Prairie View, Grambling, Southern/Norfolk.
Alabama State and NCCU would be right outside my top 10.

I think we have the chance to be No. 1....however, for a preseason poll, I'm only basing it off of prior season and roster makeup (what you lost and what you added).
