As I've stated before in conversation about realignment. C-USA approached JSU, Grambling and Southern in the late 90s early 2000s. Each school understood the ramifications of not only attempting to go fbs but doing so having to leave most of the Rivals behind and indoctrinating their fanbase to a new culture. While I don't have any inside information of any ongoing conversations. I'm more than certain that if they were interested than, they have already made a few calls now.

I ask this because I saw their names mentioned by a poster on a CUSA members message board as potential schools to go after when the next realignment shakeup comes.

Not surprised, our schools name have always popped up on their message board. As I said, I'm sure calls have already been made. It didn't happen then it sure won't happen now. Note I can't speak for famu because they haven't been in the family long enough. But I would think they learn their lesson from the last time they attempted to be the first negro league.

Wasn't their lesson last time centered around not over exaggerating their financial situation?
