.. not saying that it is, just was wondering if there are any contingency plans if an event such as that occurred, Surely with all of this conference upheaval going on someone has given it a thought, seems like a question bluedog may be able to answer!

HOPEFULLY, NO MORE members bolt the conference but I could see mayb Delaware State or SC State leaving [maybe?]. Outside of SC State, there really isn't anothr meac team that would draw a crowd to the Celebration Bowl. The swac representation is a definite because traditionally, they do show up for the bowl. The meac teams that have [and would have] represented it well are now GONE.
IF the meac implodes......I would guess that ESPN would either kill the CB....OR replace the meac with another conference? OR something else totally different. Maybe ESPN would instead get behind the SWAC Championship Game?
Again, I am just grasping at straws since its a hypothetical question

Either the SWAC Championship would become the main focus, or SWAC vs SIAC/CIAA winner possibly.

That second part is technically not allowed. But I'll say this softly so the omniscient one won't flog me. But with the right influence, any man made rule can be bent or waived.
