It’s a new year and Chicago State could soon find itself a new home conference — possibly an HBCU conference. HBCU Gameday first reported last May that Chicago State had expressed interest in joining the MEAC. College AD reported on January 7 that representatives from both the MEAC were set to make a visit to the campus this week. The report also states that Ohio Valley Conference officials are expected to visit them as well hbcugameday.com/2022/01/11/source-meac-chicago-state-weighing-options/

Glad to see both conferences trying to expand their footprint. It will be interesting to see how this works out.

Well technically they are not an hbcu, but I didn't look at it that way. They should have went for AA&M when it might have been feasible. Lol. But anyway if TSU don't move conference at least the Chicago tsu alumni might have something to look forward to.

So traveling isn't an issue as long as TnST stay in a PWI conference.

The SWAC ship has sailed apparently. We can not fall out over it now. It is time to move forward in a feasible conference and make the best of it at this point.

So traveling isn't an issue as long as TnST stay in a PWI conference. If you're referring to my comment, I was talking about the alumni that live in or around Chicago. I figure they wouldn't mind coming out to support since Chicago St. is a Predominately Black Institution. And I know they don't have football.
