Welp so much for the Big South and being so competitive. Seven of the nine schools end up below .500. Not just overall but in their conference.

Big South.....pffft!!!!
I predict that A&T will eventually return to the MEAC.
But whatever. I know too many alums who aren't happy about being in the BORE SOUTH.
Hampton? Who knows...whatever.

While I preferred A&T in the MEAC. The MEAC was falling apart, can't be mad at A&T for that. Just gotta help the MEAC resurges and catches it's footing leadership wise. A change has been made.
Also, I don't think the 500 record is due to the conference. I think it's due to the coach. Broadway build A&T up and Washington seemed to be riding that wave, but I don't think he's up to the task. A&T lost to Morgan State and FAMU the last two years in the MEAC. He and his staff were out-coached in both of those games. This year, they lost to Hampton 30-9 in conference...and next year A&T will trend down too. If Broadway is the coach, I think A&T finishes towards the top of the Big South.

Outside of Hampton and Gardner Webb, I'm not highly disappointed at them losing. Hopefully, they can figure things out and start competing for top dog in the conference. And bring Hampton up too.

What in the world are you talking about falling apart? Let's see...Hampton & A&T left for the Big South. FAMU and BCU left for the SWAC. The commissioner had people calling for his head. A new commissioner has been named.

Had they stayed there never would have been any of the meac is about to fold rumors, regardless of what famu and bcu did afterward. No A&T left admittedly by them, because like so many of us when we have some success. They thought they had outgrown the meac.

I'm not saying they falling apart, but if several schools leave a conference and non of them get replaced.....well it's hard not to say that looks like trouble. For most other conferences that has experienced something similar over the past few years, the masses usually say they are falling apart. I'm pretty sure he applied that same logic in his statement about the MEAC.

They cause the writing on the wall by abruptly leaving. You know, I know, and every meac poster in the forum that we both visit knew it and let them know how they felt about it.
