Well, at least they are already promoting it to some degree. I don't know how many people watch the games online, but they were promoting the JMC during the APSU game.

I'd prefer to have BCU come in for homecoming so people would actually come in.

I'd prefer to have BCU come in for homecoming so people would actually come in. They would still only come in for halftime primarily. We need a good crowd to start the season. It kinda sets the tone. If we win it helps to get more people back for other games. Also, I follow BCU because my other half is a BCU alum. BCU, rarely plays a non-conference game after September. To schedule BCU you pretty much have to play them in September. They tend to play at least two FBS schools in Florida each year. They rotate with Miami and FSU regularly. After those two schools they tend to play UCF, South Florida and FIU. For some reason the rarely if ever play UF. But I understand point. TSU fans still tend to lean towards HC games that have an HBCU opponent. Quite honestly, I think playing Tuskegee would draw better than most OVC schools.

DC, honestly, I can see Tuskegee being a really big draw in Nashville. Tuskegee is probably the most supported [by fans in the seats] in our conference than any other SIAC team...followed by Miles and Albany State. NOT to mention, their fanbase travels well too especially to a city like Nashville not being so far from Skegee and easily accessible from other cities. I just hope we NEVER see UVA-Lynchburg on our schedule again. IJS....

I'm pretty sure initially I did the same. You know, I think something is going on with VUL and D1 HBCU's. Five D1 HBCU's have scheduled VUL over the past 3 years. Which makes me wonder if there's some effort to help them legitimize their program. Of course there is always the factor of poor scheduling that comes into play and it's just easier to schedule VUL when all else fails. I'm also certain that it's not a major cost to the host school either. But it just seems odd that this program is all of sudden appearing on HBCU schedules. In addition to TSU this year, VUL has also appeared on the schedules of Alcorn, Grambling, Jackson State and Mississippi Valley State and Morgan State. I think several D2 and NAIA HBCU's have scheduled VUL as well.

Billy Joe brother is HC at VUL.
THE same guy that is crying FBS playing HBCUs is encouraging this garbage game.

Its interesting that until they started playing some of our programs, I had NEVER heard of this school before. CLAIMS to have been founded in 1886. I can damn near name EVERY single hbcu in a state but NEVER ran across this one. Soooo.... Ion know, DC....something is definitely UP with this VUL.... STAY WOKE.... thats ALL I can say. Not trying to shade the institution...IJS.
