Skelton’s passing on full display in Southern’s final fall

BATON ROUGE, La. – Southern held its final scrimmage of fall camp Saturday afternoon, and one thing stood out: Ladarius Skelton’s passing.
The Jaguars called only one designed run when the dual-threat quarterback was under center. Skelton passed on every other down. The senior threw two deep passes for touchdowns. His only blemish on the day was a tipped pass turned pick-six, but the preseason “game” was an example of Skelton’s off-season work coming to fruition.
