Amazing that college athletics doesn’t control itself and relies on a governing body that controls smaller institutions and pacifies larger ones.

All fcs schools better put their plans on hold. A side effect of this meeting might be that it becomes harder to move levels.

Always about money. Powerful fbs Schools are doing things to keep their power. Smaller fbs schools are trying to get that pie. The only way to restore his understanding is too get rid of the TV money. That ain't happening

The big boys are killing college sports.

I won't say killing it completely. But I do think they are on the verge of redefining the have and have not gap. I can see the power conference(s) separating from the NCAA and creating paid college athletic student positions.

And that’s what I hate. It’s being redefined greatly, and I don’t know where it’s headed, but it looks bad.

The ACC needs to invite the rest of the Big12….if they’re smart.

I'm sure the Big12 is about to be picked apart.

It only makes sense. But for the life of me, I don’t understand why haven’t they started doing so yet. The PAC 12 and the ACC stands more to lose if they don’t strike first. Maybe espn is telling them they’re fine where they are.
