Southern and TSU needs to get on each other schedule again. It almost happen in Detroit but we know what happened there..

When I was in school, Our biggest rival were.
1. FAMU 2. JSU 3. Southern 4. Grambling (they never brought their band) 5. Central State

Simply because you are including Central State I'm assuming in the late 70's into the early 80's. I don't recall Central State ever being one of our biggest rivals. They were a rival. But, I'd have to put mTSU way ahead of them. I also would put Southern and Grambling ahead of JSU.

TSU played Central State twice in the early nineties. If I remember, we lost both times. I had never heard of them, but a part of me considered them a rival because I wanted us to avenge those losses.

But, I'd have to put mTSU way ahead of them. I also would put Southern and Grambling ahead of JSU. I attended TSU in the mid 80s.... mTSU should be in top 4 during that time. I guess I had HPCU on the brain. I attended games in Louisville and Indianapolis when we played Central state. I had friends of family that attended CSU. It seemed pretty heated.
