Not sure if this was mentioned already in a thread.

Former Tennessee State starting quarterbackO'Shay Ackerman-Carter transferred to Brevard College in North Carolina.
Ackerman-Carter suffered season-ending injuries in each of the last two seasons. He still managed to throw for 1,877 career yards and 16 TDs.
Ackerman-Carter is a junior and eligible to play immediately because Brevard is a Division II program.
There are several other connections between Brevard and TSU.
Brevard coach Bill Khayat was a TSU assistant (2000-2003 and 2013-2015), running backs coach Eric Gallon was on TSU's staff (2015-2016) and football operations director and recruiting coordinator Dynomite Kuhn was football operations director at TSU (2014-2016).
Former TSU quarterback Kenton Evans (1999-2000) is Brevard's quarterbacks coach, and former La Vergne and TSU receiver Andrew Bather (2011-2015) is Brevard's receivers coach.
Former Eagleville quarterback Ryan Jordan, who spent the last three years at Cumberland, also transferred to Brevard.
