I will not repeat myself, concerning what I have witnessed during practiced and the "coach".
I have noticed over the years, MSU hires a new coach and they keep on winning and winning and winning.
The question is why, its simple it's the coaches they are hiring.
At TSU, they can hire a good coach, but its on record within five years the coach is parting ways with TSU. I know and it has been proven, TSU really can care less about basketball, its all about Football.
Collins, said during the Post-Game interview "This is a teaching moment" what are you teaching and I said at the beginning of the season, the games against teams like Kentucky and Memphis, these games does not prepare a team for conference play. If that was true, TSU should be undefeated in conference play and should have defeated NCA&T.
I am just saying,
Ford, is 10 -11 (4-4) at Missouri State

This aren't his players. They can't play his style.
He doesn't have a pg that can control the game. He ain't out there.
He does need to find his offensive style.
Defense just has to get better. We are softer on defense.
These guys couldn't score last year so putting them in an uptempo style Just causes more misses.
Other teams are shooting way more FTs too.
Here is the tweet I mentioned.

I agree with your comments, however neither are the players that Ford is coaching at Missouri State, I am watching the record of both coaches.
I know some did not think much of Ford, but IMO I think this team, would be doing much better if Ford was still the coach.
A “good coach” would have watched the games from last season and understood the returning player could not play an up-tempo game and made the necessary adjustment for this season, until he can “recruit” his type of players.
It’s like entering walking horse in the Kentucky Derby.
Perhaps, I would give his a pass for this season, is he admit the coaching staff may not be coaching the players according to their abilities, instead of always placing the losses on the players.
People were saying he is a good coach because father was a decent coach - well folks it true under the laws of Nature "An Apple Does Not fall From The Tree - Law of Gravity" but that's not true with people a person can be a good ball player, that does not mean the person will be a good head coach.
Most teams as the season progress, they show some improvements - that's not happening with the men's or women's team. It's not like TSU is playing in the SEC, ACC, Big 10 or 12, just show some progress and stop making up excuses.
It's like I said to a relative and others at the last home game - It is not fair to the few fans or students that attend the games that we have to continue the embarrassment of losing games by 20 plus points.

U make a good point they have not improve as a Team . They look real good against a good David LiMacomb team first game of the season their is way to many stand flat footed reaching foul out control possession passing the ball to a spot on the floor instead of the team mate and some dumb fouls

No PG, at this point Chaney should know how to run the point, doggone he is a senior. He has had problems in the past, Littlejohn, is a better player.
Does anyone know why Sampson Oyediran did not return for his senior year – he was not a great scorer, but a decent rebounder.
He was hurt a lot.
