Enrollment numbers are not typically announced this early in the semester given that it just started. We should start hearing numbers by mid-September. I've heard that enrollment may drop but not significantly. Even a slight drop would be a disappointment to me. Since Dr. Glover was appointed President of TSU, I've yet to read or hear any specific plan to address stagnant enrollment. For some reason her administration seems reluctant to talk definitively about enrollment numbers, so I hope we'll get a real number and not some rounded number stated in marketing material.

Due to the high cost of living in Nashville, more students are living on campus. Retention is out real problem. Our freshman classes are always the same size. We need to start keeping students.
