TN State - NC A&T, Friday, December 15.
This should be a good game.
A&T website is on target and the offer "Watch Lock TV" and sponsors.
TSU should take notice and wakeup. How old is TSU website, over ten years old

tsu120, I like TSU's site. It's easy to navigate. However, they do need some updating and bring certain aspects of the site to prominence. The TSUAA needs more prominence on the site. Right now, someone visiting the site wouldn't know it's there because it's not in your face or even off to the side. To be fair neither was the Aggie Athletic Foundation (AAF). But at least they have it as part of their Inside Athletics section. I think all schools should have their booster organization front and center on their athletic websites.
I would say that TSU should follow suit with AAF in creating a site that explains who they are, what their goals are and what they've accomplished in each academic year. We need far more than a link tucked away in the bottom corner of the site that does not draw any attention. Then once you click on the TSUAA you get a one page summary. That's not the best use of the website to promote joining and contributing to the TSUAA. I'll be sending the AD an email about that. I hope others will do the same instead of just criticizing. We should all learn to be proactive with the AD and do so in a proper, professional and respectful manner.

The TSUAA is connected with the school main website, but you are correct everything should be interconnected.
I recall when I was the Regional VP, we were told that the Alumni Chapters, were not part of the university and our stance was, if that’s the case, stop asking alumni for money.
Does anyone remember Dreamer, from the first message board.

Also, our alumni Association is a separate entity. The schools that raise a lot of money, all the money, membership. etc. goes directly to the school. No third party stuff going on. Membership, Donation, certain event tickets should go directly into the TSU foundation. This is why other school's participation rate is higher. TSUNAA also mean TSU National Athletics Association just like the Nationals. The Athletic Association should have a board, members, laws, etc. except in their case money goes directly to the TSU Foundation.

Unless something happen, the Athletic Association will not have a seat as a board member.

I'm sorry, I was referencing the TSU Athletic Association not the TSU Alumni Association. This is why I've always been opposed to the TSUAA being used for the athletic association. It should have been called the TSU Big Blue Club or TSU Tiger Association or even simply the TSU Tiger Club. I'm not going to get into a discussion regarding the alumni association as part of this discussion. 120, I believe 50 is saying that the Athletic Association needs its on board not to have a seat on the board of the university. And, I agree with him if that's his point. The Athletic Association needs to be governed by a board not just the athletic department. Members should vote on the board members as well.
But to my original point, TSUTtigers.com should have the athletic association front and centered on the site. And, no matter which page you go to on the site, each should have a link to the athletic association. If there's a facebook page established by the athletic department it to should have the athletic association featured prominently. In other words, the athletic department has to be cognizant of putting the athletic association in front of everyone that searches, reads or browse for information about TSU sports.

You need a TSU Alumni Association and a separate TSU Athletics Association. Both institutions funding/fundraising should be housed within the TSU Foundation.
