How is the baseball talent in the Nashville area? Does it compare to football and basketball? How much will TSU need to rely on JUCO and Transfer portal for baseball? I saw where some SWAC schools were victorious against some SEC teams. Be interesting to see where the recruiting is coming from. Maybe we will need to go the international route. It's good bad. There are several High Schools with good teams, that produce good college players. The firs one come to mind is Mookie Betts, Overton High School.

Ok, Ed Temple Track, flooded each time there was excessive rain. As well as parts of the grass parking and parts of the practice field.
Now, as the Corp of Engineers and NWA stated. It was a "10 - 20" year flood. One thing I have learned, you can't control water, no matter how you grade it. This is base on 30 plus years working with TN DOT. Remember, that entire back area is a landfill, with all sorts of thing in it.

I believe there is enough in-state talent to be competitive. Walters State JC won the juco World Series a few years back, and made it there another year; and their team was mostly in-state and the surrounding states. A reputable coach IMO can get some talent - again, Memphis, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Birmingham, Louisville and all of the rural areas around those cities are just a few hours away.

More than enough JC's and High School. There has been a few high school players, that's playing minor and a few in the majors "Mookie Betts" he never played College Ball. The talent is definitely in TN.

If not mistaken Martha Ingram and her sons donated the land on the other side of the river to TSU. The last word was the legislature fought tooth and nail to stop it!!
