player missed free throw on purpose and got his own rebound. SEMO had two 3 point shots for the win but missed.
When I coached youth league thru AAU, one of the fundamentals was to always box out the free throw shooter!!
Dodged a bullet!! Fundamental basketball is not being taught anymore.

No excuse!
TSU became to comfortable being ahead by 12 points - have to continue to play.
Not sure why TSU continue to underestimate teams with a losing record.
A win is a win
Question: Why Jones was eligible to play against SEMO, he received a TF and ejected from the LU game. I was thinking, when a player if ejected from a game, he was ineligible to play the next game. Is that rule apply only to Women BB.

Fun part of this win is that it moves us up to #2 in the conference.

In the interview coach said they decided to go with a defensive starting lineup. Great decision and it has paid off. I hope he stays the course and use his offensive weapons to put opponents away down the stretch. Keep your foot on the gas!

Jones headbutt a player. However, it was within 5 minutes, I think, of the game starting. So that may have had something to do with it.

In the early 2000s, if a player/s were suspended for fighting, the HC was suspended also. The TSU HC was suspended for bring a gun into Gentry Center. An Assistant Coach (AC) was designated HC. During a follow-up game, players were ejected for fighting. The players were suspended for the next game along with the HC. The next AC (there were only about 2) was young and inexperienced and Teresa Phillips did not want to appoint him HC. Therefore, she coached the next game, thereby, becoming the first female to coach a D1 men's team.

Also here when Ron Abernethy, was hired and was suspended for one game because he questioned several "bad" call.
