QB battle will be between Hamsley, Carter, and unfortunately Ellis just because he’s here still. I like these two as they are pure pocket passers, likely will stray away from running RPO style and go to a traditional either spread or Shotgun pistol

BOTH HAVE ALREADY ENROLLED...
LSU quarterback transfers to TSU Former LSU quarterback George Hamsley transferred this week to Tennessee State.
Hamsley is a 6-5 redshirt sophomore from Memphis University School. He passed for 2,852 yards and 24 touchdowns as a high school senior and was selected to play in the Liberty Bowl High School All-Star Game in 2021. Hamlsey also was a pitcher on the MUS baseball team.
He is already enrolled at TSU and will go through spring practice with the Tigers.
The Tigers also signed Kierron Smith, a 6-foot, 330-pound defensive lineman from Georgia Southern.

I think it's worth listening to the full interview. But if you're short on time, skip to the 20:45 minute mark to hear about his recruitment & commitment to TSU.

Makes me appreciate how the staff recruits, top to bottom. He hears from the full defensive staff, as well as the head coach. He mentioned he's already studying the playbook. I love it!
This LB class is loaded talent wise. We get 3 totally different body types and skillsets, which should help us have a more versatile LB corp. I'm excited to see them add depth and push for playing time.
