Tennessee State University Hall of Fame was established in 1983 to recognize and celebrate the outstanding performances and achievements of individuals associated with Tennessee State University Athletics. Outside of jersey retirement, induction into the TSU Hall of Fame is the highest honor that TSU can bestow upon a former student-athlete, coach, or athletic administrator. As such, the criteria below were developed by the TSU Hall of Fame Selection Committee to ensure that those inducted into the TSU Hall of Fame are truly worthy of this most coveted honor. For a former student-athlete: A candidate does not need to have received a degree from TSU and completed his/her athletic eligibility no less than ten years prior to their nomination. A candidate must have been an outstanding athlete and contributor at TSU who has later led a responsible life. For a former athletic coach or administrator: He/she must have been employed by TSU for a minimum of four years. He/she must have brought about significant change and/or success to a team or the TSU Athletics Department as a whole. tsutigers.com/sb_output.aspx?form=17

Damn! That’s it! Hell, anyone can be in the Hall of Fame. Why isn’t Barnhill, Rogers, or Monti Davis’ jerseys retired.
Hell, why am I not in the hall of fame??? I’ve lived a good life. I can make a helluva old fashion, too.

TSU needs an adequate hall of fame. It makes no sense when you have the Tigerbelles, NFL and college greats, John McClendon and several nba players, Coach starks in golf. It should be a package with an on campus stadium.

That is a good suggestion. Several groups got together to get the hall of fame back up and running.
The goal is to get the event done on annual bases and always host it during the spring game/ coming home weekend.
Hopefully this will spark more interests to get something like that done.
I think a nice place for it maybe the new alumni welcome center or inside the new football operations building.
