I was thinking the same. With the OBC pumping $33million into the city for that weekend, she may be holding out for a bigger pot.

I'm still expecting them to take another shot at FBS in the next 3 to 5 years. Especially, if they breakthrough and win the SWAC the next couple of seasons. The budget will need to be in the green as well. Who knows? |

My guess is the OBC would entice Bethune-Cookman. It only makes sense as its a Florida-based Classic. I doubt TSU would even entertain it, really no incentive for us at all. I am guessing since this is the 3rd and final year for JSU/FAMU that JSU also probably won't appear in 2024's OBC. It will be another SWAC school vs BCU. Maybe SC State will get a call?

They need FAMU in that classic. Not sure any other school will work. BCU is the obvious pick to replace FAM, but who else do you get? JSU is likely gone. I don't think anyone else will bring a crowd. Grambling usually travels well to neutral site games, but not sure Miami would work for them. Maybe A&T?
