During a meeting several months ago The SBR, questioned Dr. Glover, about the number of vacant and interim positions. Dr. Li., was appointed Interim Dean January "2021-Presen" shortly after Dr; Hargrove, became the Provost of Tuskegee. I guess, it takes over two years to conduct a search and select a Permanent Dean. www.tnstate.edu/cae/li.aspxwww.tnstate.edu/engineering/leaderships.aspx

It shouldn't take so long to find a replacement... What are the criteria the candidates need to meet?

At one time TSU Engineering Program was the most difficult in the country to complete. Because the students were required to take the EIT Exam [didn't have to pass it]. In fact TSU was one of a few Colleges in the country, that required the EIT prior to graduating.
I am not sure if it's still required.

It was a tough exam and it was best to take the toughest Physics and Calculus professors if you wanted to pass..
