I think FAMU a top 25 team in FCS. With that said, JSU just looked dominate today! Gotta give credit where it's due.
JSU's QB looks so much smoother and in control of the offense in year 2. O-Line looks better. The receiving and TE corps looks deep. The only unit I didn't see improve was the RB unit, but they didn't need it. The defense looks deep and talented as well.
The biggest improvement and most important addition to JSU was the hiring of the new Offensive Coordinator. Watching the Celebration Bowl and watching today's game looked like night and day. I'm not talking success, I'm talking scheme and adjustments. Their offense looked so lost against SCSU. They looked a lot better. I think JSU should be a top 10 team.
I also know we can play with JSU. I'm interested to see what both teams didn't show in week one. The SHC should be electric!

I based this on what I saw from FAMU in the game (scheme and players), not so much on how good UNC is. I watched some other teams in the top 25 over the last two weekends, and I think FAMU is better. Just my opinion, no bias. I am not saying that because FAM is a HBCU, I actually believe FAMU is top 25. After what I saw yesterday, I just believe JSU is more of top 10 team. We'll let the season play out an see just how under or over-rated FAMU is. I think people will realize as the season goes on, JSU is really good. They finally got an offensive coordinator that can get the most out of their talent. Last year's OC left a lot on the field honestly. The O-line didn't help him but some of the play calling and scheme was lacking. |

My bad for the confusion, I was saying more so I think FAMU is actually a top 25 caliber team and should've been ranked preseason top 25. It will be a while before they actually are ranked. |
