I hate this for FAMU. I'm all for the smack talk normally, but I don't wish this on another school or rival.

Back in the day TSU would have several guys declared ineligible right before the start of the season. Fortunately, TSU has gotten our act together and I don't remember having any issues in recent memory.
Coach George has a staff now that rivals the FCS powers. The "Chief of Staff" has done an amazing job. Coaches can focus on coaching!

Now "ain't that something" CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — North Carolina's season-opening home football game against Florida A&M will be played as scheduled on Saturday, according to spokespersons from both schools, but it was not a sure thing earlier Friday afternoon. UNC AD Bubba Cunningham said clearing eligibility at the beginning of each semester can be a tedious process because of freshmen transcripts, summer school for continuing students and trekking progress toward a degree. “Confirming eligibility for the first game happens right until the last minute,” Cunningham said. “We didn’t have everybody confirmed from an eligibility standpoint until this (Friday) morning.
