I imagine at least all of remaining Tennessee OVC schools are discussing moving somewhere as a package possibly. But it also doesn't mean one of them won't make a move on their own. The remaining OVC schools are planning to hold the conference together with the partnership with the BSC for 2022 and then gain membership of NCAA DII (with football) programs moving up the FCS Division I level.

HMMM... indirect shot at destroying the ASUN by forming a pack... Devious business minds.. LOL The ASUN is more stable than the BSC and the OVC due to having six football members for this fall 2022 season. They have the ability to get NCAA Division II programs to move up to the FCS Division I level as well.

Murray ST leaving OVC after 2022. OVC actually may have Lindenwood on the way from D2 so OVC may be ahead of ASUN. But both appear to have 5 committed football teams currently. Basketball wise the OVE way ahead even after losing some of the best mid-major teams.

They are all one bid basketball leagues.

I must admit I am bias because my oldest son is a student at Lindenwood and I would like this move to be success if we must stay in the OVC for now. May as well start put some positive vibes is the universe.
They do fit in the footprint of the OVC.

I think it is a great opportunity for the Lindenwood Lions and a necessity for the OVC in terms of qualifying for a FCS automatic bid. I doubt it moves the needle for the Tennessee State fans (outside of your unique relationship) in general and from a media perspective, it is just another game.

Congrats tsudenver, but at this point I'm more interested in who fits into the footprint of TSU, I thought Lindenwood was some kinda furniture...Shaking My Head!! This just shows you how much some of us will go out of the way to avoid joining a black conference, "Where are all of the "TSU should be going FBS Folk at?...Looks more like we going Div 2...Or is Div 2 coming to TSU by way of the OVC, This is Sickening!!

At this point, what choice do we have. Until TSU get another partner for the SWAC or the SWAC makes adjustments to accommodate TSU, we must find a way to charge forward. IF FBS is the direction for TSU we must show we will support the university no matter who we are playing.

We can ask them how do you manage and add multiple sports since we have no clue how to do it. #ijs

Time for a two years notice to the OVC which would give TSU some time to let the dust settle and perhaps end up saving us some money...Any school averaging less than 4,000 fans per game talking about going FBS is a School of Fools!!

Hmm....interesting Lou Brock Sports Complex is college athletic complex located in St. Charles Missouri that includes a baseball stadium and softball stadium. It is the home field of the Lindenwood University Lions baseball and softball teams. It is named after former St. Louis Cardinals player and member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Lou Brock. The Sports Complex was built in 2005 under the university's expansion plans. It has hosted NAIA regional tournaments along with the 2009 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round. The baseball stadium at Lou Brock features permanent, bleacher seating for 700 spectators. These seats wrap around the foul territory behind home plate. The adjacent softball field features seating for around 300 spectators behind homeplate.a Clubhouse is located down the right field line of the baseball field and contains space for a variety of functions for the team and includes the team's locker room. Both fields include a pressbox, which enables radio broadcasts and is used by media members and game day staff. A concession stand is located in a concourse between the baseball field and softball field Facilities are no issue. The school is loaded and for it to be private, the tuition is not bad at all.
