Listen to both Pod Cast and enjoyed the comments:
I was so happy to hear when someone said âEddie George, could be criticizedâ because, to my memory every first year coach at TSU was criticized.
As the situation of 4-1 and could not get the first down, someone mentioned coaching experience. Honestly, there is too much coaching experience at TSU for not to be able to get a â4-1â
Itâs really hard for me to buy into the idea of âlacking coaching experienceâ There is no difference, between holding, personal foul or off-sides, from college ball and professional ball.
Eddie George, Professional Experience, no coaching experience and thatâs ok.
Joe Bowen: Professional and College Experience; Missouri Baptist, San Francisco 49âs; Rams; Central Oklahoma; Washington Redskins; University of Oklahoma; Oilers / Titans.
Brandon Fisher, Professional and College, Titans; Detroit Lions, Auburn
Clyde Simmons: Professional and College: â15 years NFLâ; Western Carolina; Cleveland Browns; NY Jets; Eagles; Bears; Arizona Cardinals; Jacksonville Jaguars; Chicago Bears; Eagles.
Hugh Jackson: Professional and College: â30 years of coaching experience at both the collegiate and professional levels.â Arizona State; Washington Redskins; Bengals; Bears; Southern Cal; California; Raiders; Browns
Mark Hutson: Professional and College: LSU Tigers; Cleveland Browns; Eastern Ill; Tulane University; Tulsa; Boise State; Arkansas
Keep up the good work;
My perdiction, TSU defeat APSU

Thanks for sharing the podcast!!! Yes not getting that 4th and inches was a gut punch. We are a work in progress and I believe we will be a different team by the time we get to the last 3 games. The OL has improved with pass blocking. The DL seems to have regressed.. Lets have a complete game Saturday!!

Number 16 - Chambers has been starting for Harper but Harper has played the 2nd half. not many other DBs play... Got to recruit that area. No excuses for the personal fouls... We should have beaten Grambling and been in a better place against JSU The coaching staff showing they can make adjustments but discipline is a huge problem!!!

I know you are good at noticing personnel. Hard for me to see via the screen. TSU is finally posting the box scores with more information. I was shocked about how many more players are in the rotation from the 1st game of the season.

The website is improving although slowly.. Wish we had a two deep roster but maybe they don't post that info on purpose. I make a point to watch special teams to get an insight into the players that may have a shot at getting into the rotation. Make a point of noticing the OL when kicking field goals. Number 62 moved to a starting position. 72 and 78 were starters in the Spring. 71 and 70 have been replaced at guard but were on the sideline. 69 and 77 have started all season. 77 got to be more discipline!!! 79 started at the beginning of the season. 73 and 65 mainly play special teams but have seen a little action. Most of these guys are FRESHMEN!!

I think the quote about not wanting to see Eddie's team near the end of the season came from one of the local Nashville broadcasters after the SHC. Given what you all are pointing out, I'm starting to believe him.

The game against TTU this weekend, will be a defining point on the how the team have matured from the game against AP. TSU could make a run if they eliminate those untimely foolish penalties.
