Covid is the reason for not having Nissan in the video. It would be easier to storm the capital than to get inside Nissan right now. 😂

TSU has been playing at NISSAN (LP Field), long before the COVID.
In the past prospective players has toured, NISSAN / LP Field.
TSU, has pictures of NISSAN prior to COVID = all they would have to do with the officials at NISSAN is get permission to use the existing information.
NISSAN, belong to the City of Nashville, not the Titians

Nissan is not the only facility missing. Hale Stadium is missing. Kean Hall (Volleyball) is missing. The Tennis Complex is missing.
Nissan is so clad in Titans signage, I really don't care if they show it. There's just nothing that says it's the home of TSU football. Having a couple of small signs is just a thing to appease TSU officials.

DC
I forgot about he missing TSU Logo as you enter the NISSAN. Come to think about it, the logo has not been there in years. I could be wrong, I brefly recall the excuse was s few years ago "Th have not put it up yet"
I know several alumni, that refuse to attend football games.
the crazy part is, the Titans, do not have a problem inviting the Crats to perform. Its like get off the bus, perform not get on the bus and go back to the campus.
One of the reasons I do not support the organization!

TSU signage is there
The tsu thing came down when shields was in power.
Some of it has to be back on our leadership
Remember shields painted hale stadium and pretty much said it was brand new.
Don't get shocked when tsu gets treated poorly when our leadership has piss poor vision.

120, as 50 said, the TSU logo is on the backside of the jumbotrons and we now have those four signs that were unveiled last year in the four corners of the stadium that are virtually unseen by most people attending games there. My thing is there is nothing to make the game day experience for TSU about TSU. No center field TSU logo. No end zone design for TSU. No TSU wall paintings or flags in the concourses. No TSU cups in the concessions. No signage on the stadium structure facing the parking lots and entry points. No parking lot light pole banners. NOTHING that says this is the home for TSU football on TSU game day.
If TSU enters into a new contract with Nissan, it should include ALL of those things. There are ways to give the stadium a TSU game day feel that don't require taking down the Titans stuff. And, if Nissan should ever convert to field turf, they should do interchangeable center field and end zone designs. That should have been a requirement from the beginning.

I have to check again, I honestly don't remember a sign on the James Robertson Parkway side.
OK, I went to look and yes there is a sign. maybe a little be larger than 36 X 24, under the BIG NISSAN sign.. I had to get out of my truck to actually look for the sign.
How much is TSU paying to play at NISSAN.

TSU athletics has to show intuitive to ensure that the field is designed to our liking.
Just like, tsu athletics cut off half of the stadium because they didn't want to pay cleaning fees.
You can't be cheap. Too many of alumni have believed our leaders lies and refuse to hold them accountable.
They have done everything in their power to not utilize Nissan stadium properly from not designing it, scheduling piss poor teams, piss poor parking, and not enhancing the in game experience.
All our alumni say play more hbcus. The games we play against hbcus are just as boring. It would still be boring because leadership has no vested interest in making tsu fun again!

I hate just having one side of Nissan available for seating. Everyone knows what their doing...being cheap. So, minor league. However, I still don’t think the HBCU’s we play is the problem. Yes, playing Alabama A&M and Alabama State bring in more fans, but the FAMU, MVSU, BCU, and AK Pine Bluff shouldn’t be poorly attended...like they have been in recent years. And if we’re counting on their fans or their band to bring in our own fans, then our fans really aren’t fans. They’re just locals wanting to come see a show. Where are the true TSU fans? What happened to the over 20,000 attendance for the JMC and homecoming regardless of who we were playing? Something’s amiss, and it’s not who we’re playing.

Madness, I think the issue with the JMC has been poor marketing over the past few years. Thus the reason it's slumping.
The phenomenon of fans not coming out to games if the band and/or visiting band isn't present has been developing for well over a decade or more. I actually blame the classic games on that because they built the games as an entertainment event not as a premier football games. You can go on several of the HBCU sites and see where real HBCU football fans are talking about the same things as we are. The season that FAMU's band was on probation, their fans didn't travel anywhere and their home attendance was also down considerably. When FAMU's band snubbed TSU and didn't come to Nashville, their fans also didn't come. Many of our fans also didn't come when they learned that FAMU's band wasn't coming. If Southern's band don't travel to Tally, I can assure you that will impact attendance. Howard, which isn't really worth talking about in terms of fan support, is much worse when there is no visiting band. I've actually stopped going to MEAC games in DC and MD because the fan support is really bad. There is no atmosphere at those games or very little. Unfortunately, HBCU football games are not about the games anymore. They are all about the partying atmosphere around the games.

And that’s my point DC., if we have to rely on bands to bring out fans, then they aren’t real football fans. Why can’t each game be a small homecoming? Why are only 8,000 coming to OVC games (6,000 in late October/early November)? Only 12,000 against Ark. Pine Bluff and 14,000 against MVSU.
It is not the conference that’s the problem, it is the football experience. We need something to be proud of. An updated stadium is the way to go.
